Trauma, Illness and Healing
Join us for a rare transformative experience with world-renowned expert Dr. Gabor Maté, author of The Myth of Normal.
In a city that never stops, where the pace is hard to keep up, Gabor Maté will guide you through exploring trauma, resilience, and reclaiming your health in this demanding world.
Harsh reality: more than half of North American adults suffer from chronic illness. So many people feel trapped in a cycle of stress, burnout, and disconnection. Western medicine has taught us to isolate the mind from the body, focusing on genetics just symptoms, never the root cause.
Gabor Maté is on a mission to change that because our well-being is shaped by far more than just our biology: our emotions, experiences, and social environment play a huge role in how we feel day to day.
During this powerful event, Dr. Gabor Maté will reveal how societal pressures, personal experiences, and unprocessed trauma affect your mental and physical health. You’ll walk away with a deep understanding of how to reconnect with yourself and begin a journey toward genuine healing.
“Trauma is not what happens to you: it is what happens inside you as a result of what happens to you.” – Gabor Maté
