UNVEILING THE HIDDEN SELF:
DISCOVER WHAT LIES BENEATH THE APPEARANCE WE PRESENT TO THE WORLD.
Join renowned physician and author Dr. Gabor Maté for an immersive workshop introducing Compassionate Inquiry™, a groundbreaking psychotherapeutic method that reveals what lies beneath the surface we present to the world.
Through Compassionate Inquiry, people can recognise the unconscious dynamics that run their lives and how to liberate themselves from them.
The use of the Compassionate Inquiry approach gently uncovers and releases the layers of childhood trauma, constriction and suppressed emotion embedded in the body, that are at the root of illness and addiction.
We all long to be seen, heard, understood and loved. We heal when we feel safe in our relationship, connected to our bodies, our breath, the present moment, and one another.
This will be both an experiential, participatory workshop where participants will be guided through their own personal process, as well as an introduction to the training to teach the method of Compassionate Inquiry to health professionals, therapists and social workers.
What is Compassionate Inquiry?
Compassionate Inquiry™ is a powerful technique developed by Dr. Maté that helps uncover:
- Unconscious dynamics that run our lives
- Hidden assumptions and implicit memories
- Body states that form the real message behind our words
Through this method, everyone can recognise these dynamics and liberate themselves, accessing deep healing and transformation.
Only when we experience connection to ourselves and others, can we open up to our vulnerability and emotions, and discover and express what is true for us. This expression is what heals us.
